Dennis Gonier, Internet Research Pioneer and CEO of TARP Worldwide, to Speak at the 11th Annual CASRO Technology Conference 2006

Has technology gone too far? Technological advances have helped skyrocket productivity in the consumer research industry, and few industry insiders have critiqued the impact of technology on the science, business, and role of research in the field—until now.

At the 2006 CASRO Technology Conference, Dennis E. Gonier will offer a sobering assessment of the role of technology usage in his provocative presentation entitled Rise above the machines: Why insight matters in our profession.

Gonier is a former CASRO board member and founder and CEO of Digital Marketing Services (DMS), a successful online marketing services company that pioneered new loyalty strategies and launched online research as an alternative to phone surveys. From his experience at DMS to Executive VP of America Online (AOL) and now back to customer experience analysis as CEO of TARP Worldwide, Gonier will discuss how technology may have gone too far in the wrong direction. This presentation promises to have a jarring impact on the industry, as this forward-thinking pioneer challenges peers to return to high quality, common sense initiatives to increase the effectiveness and productivity of consumer advocacy efforts.
