TARP Worldwide CEO: Prepare for the Economic Storm TARP Worldwide CEO Dennis Gonier recently returned from traveling the country to raise awareness of how the customer experience is critical to facing business challenges as the economic downturn deepens. “The economic storm that we are facing will test our resolve to improve the customer experience. The wallets of the American people are being squeezed. People will scrutinize every purchase and stress will rise,” says Gonier, “But those companies who prepare and act now will come out on the other side stronger than their competitors.” Gonier based the Economic Storm Tour on a whitepaper that he authored, entitled “The Customer Experience in an Economic Storm.” This paper offers evidence that organizations should not cut back on the customer experience during an economic downturn, and strategies to ensure that the customer experience.
